In addition to her prolific career as a visual artist, Susan Weil is also a published poet.
Every day Weil interweaves a poem and an image into what she calls a ‘poemumble.’ A unique form of poetic expression, Weil’s poemumbles explore the poetic fluidity and limitless potential of word and image that exist beyond the boundaries of text.
Weil’s lifelong passion for poetry led her to establish Weil Books in 2011. Weil Books publishes poetry by both emerging and established writers.
Weil Books is proud to announce SOLACE AND PERPETUITY, a life story, (2015) by adrianne wortzel, has received a 2015 New York State Foundation of the Arts Fellowship for Fiction. It was included in the exhibition Altered Books: Digital Interventions at the SIGGRAPH Conference held August 7 - 9, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.
